We Have Even More Halloween Horror Nights Haunted House Announcements from Universal Orlando!

Wow, oh wow! It has been a good week for Halloween Horror Nights fans. We now have FOUR haunted house announcements, and we have no idea if they are even done yet. Last Friday, we got our first house announcements for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, Slaughter Sinema 2. Then, on Monday we got the announcement of Goblin’s Feast. And while we were already in shock that we received two house announcements so close together, they didn’t stop there. We have gotten two additional announcements, bringing the total confirmed houses up to four. Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on August 30th, 2024, and the spooky season can’t come soon enough!

Major Sweets Candy Factory

On Tuesday, we got our third haunted house announcement for Halloween Horror Nights. It is another original house called Major Sweets Candy Factory. The concept behind this house is that, “you’ve been invited to chaperone a field trip to a candy factory. The deadly delicious treats turn the kids into sugar-fueled fiends.”

This haunted house idea has been featured as a scare zone in a previous year of Halloween Horror Nights (HHN). There was a Major Sweet Candy Co. scare zone which features the same face of Major Sweet. This scare zone was one of my favorites, so I am so excited to see it reimagined as a full haunted house. I will definitely be checking this house out as soon as possible!

The Museum: Deadly Exhibits

Our fourth announcement of the week was once again an original concept house called The Museum: Deadly Exhibits. In this house, “you decide to visit the new folklore museum exhibit, The Rotting Stone, when an evil escapes from within, destroying everything in its path.” Honestly, I am also really excited about this house.

So far, we have a super solid list of amazing sounding original concept houses that cover a wide variety. We have Slaughter Sinema 2 which will feature lots of b-horror movie spooks, Goblin’s Feast will bring in some fantasy elements, Major Sweets Candy Factory is bringing some whimsical fun in a returning favorite, and The Museum: Deadly Exhibits take us into a really cool setting.

Single day passes are on sale right now, as well as RIP tours. Universal Orlando has not released when multi-day passes will be available yet, but I am hoping we can grab them soon. I am curious to see how much the passes will cost this year as last year ended up being pretty crowded even in September.
