It has been hard to keep up with Universal Orlando recently. They have announced total of six haunted houses for Halloween Horror Nights already! If you want to see all the announcements, check out this post about everything we know about Halloween Horror Nights. The last time I wrote a post, we had received announcements for four haunted houses, and now we have TWO MORE! The first house that was announced was Slaughter Sinema 2, followed by Goblin’s Feast, then Major Sweets Candy Factory and The Museum: Deadly Exhibits. So far all of the houses have been original concept. There will be a total of ten haunted houses during the HHN event, so it is likely that most, if not all, the remaining announcements will be IP houses. However, you never know, but it does seem like the social media team has cooled off a bit on announcements. Now, let’s get into the other two houses that have recently been announced!
First up to the HHN lineup is Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America. The Universal Hollywood event has already seen this haunted house theme, and it was well-loved on the other coast. The description for this house is: “With La Muerte as your guide, you’ll be begging for piedad from these three terrifying legends: Tlahuelpuchi, La Lechuza and El Silbón.”
This house also sounds amazing and I am excited to see elements of Latin America brought into the house. As I said, this house was a fan-favorite on the West Coast, so I can’t wait to experience it. Now the final announcement we have for right now is for the Triplets of Terror Haunted House. In this house, we are being invited to a birthday, yay! However, it may be an interesting birthday bash when it is occurring during Halloween Horror Nights. The description for this house is: “You’re invited to the Barmy triplets’ birthday bash. But beware, they celebrate by recreating their family’s murders. Prepare for a gory gathering.”
A party during Halloween Horror Nights is bound to be exciting, and this house is going to be no exception. The characters are already giving me eerie vibes, so I can’t wait to make my way through this house during Halloween Horror Nights. We still have four more haunted houses to go, as well as all five scare zones. We also don’t know the icon yet. Additionally, we will be getting announcements about exclusive food and drinks as we get closer to the start of the event! I am already so excited about HHN and we are only in May! August can’t come soon enough!
Which house are you most excited about so far? Let me know in the comments! Happy travels! ~Colette
