Overview

EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, and is one of the four theme parks available for guests to enjoy at Disney World. One of the main draws of this park is World Showcase where you can explore 11 different pavilions that represent different countries of the World. EPCOT also holds four different festivals throughout the year which feature lots of food, drinks, entertainment, and activities. Additionally, year-round, you can experience thrills, interactive exhibits, an aquarium, and even a ride through a greenhouse. Let’s dive into what you can explore in EPCOT!

EPCOT is made up of four different areas: World Nature, World Discovery, World Celebration, and World Showcase. Each of these areas has a unique set of attractions, dining, and shopping.

World Nature

World Nature is the area of EPCOT dedicated to the natural world and exploring our relationship with the land.

You can find the following attractions in World Nature: Moana: Journey of Water, Seas with Nemo and Friends, Soarin’ Around the World, Living with the Land, and Journey Into Imagination.

World Discovery

World Discovery is dedicated to technology. You can explore the past and future of various technologies.

You can find the following attractions in World Discovery: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: Space, and Test Track.

World Celebration

World Celebration is the first area you will enter when coming into the park, and features the iconic EPCOT ball. This is your gateway into the rest of the areas of EPCOT.

You can only find one attraction in World Celebration which is Spaceship Earth.

World Showcase

The final area is the largest area in EPCOT and full of things to discover. World Showcase features pavilions for 11 countries around the world. Each of these pavilions features architecture, shopping, dining, and attractions to learn more about that country and its culture. You will likely spend a large portion of your day exploring this area of the park.

You can find a variety of attractions, shows, and experiences throughout World Showcase. The largest attractions you will be able to experience include: Frozen Every After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and the Gran Fiesta Tour. You can also see a variety of shows including Impressions de France, Beauty and the Beast Sing Along, The American Adventure, Wondrous China, and Canada Far and Wide. Not to mention tons of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences.
